Greyhounds (2015)
Greyhounds
By Daryl Fazio
In ‘Greyhounds’, two women, Toby and Mercy, encounter one another at a bus stop in rural Oklahoma in the middle of the night. The next bus isn’t due till dawn, so Mercy and Toby are marooned together. Wary at first, they grow to trust one another as their pasts are revealed. This new and fragile trust is challenged by a shocking discovery.
‘Greyhounds’ is a sharp and funny and deeply moving play about two women who pause from running to forge an alliance and a friendship.
